In Lil Uzi's third show upon British shores, the Philadelphia born rapper took to the stage at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London. It was almost guaranteed, when Uzi takes to the stage, Chaos ensues swiftly. Opening up with his 2018 single 'Drippin & Swaggin' from the as of yet not released Lil Uzi Vert vs The World 2, he was quick to get the crowd jumping around in a boisterous and aggressive fashion. It was almost as if everyone in the entire venue got the same adrenaline rush at the same time. Uzi is a man who has come under scrutiny in recent years for things such as his arrogance, especially with claims of being "the last living rockstar" not helping the cause for thinking otherwise. But the scenes and energy at this show are unrivalled to any musical event I have ever been to. With this in mind I'm sure Lil Uzi will be known for being quite the showman. The Philly based rapper was tailor fitted to this venue, his quick beat hype style tunes were the sort of songs that really perform well at the Brixton O2 academy. With its banked standing area, every member of Uzi's cult following got a good look at their idol.

The highlight for many was the double dose of 'XO TOUR Llif3' only 10 minutes apart from each other. The energy for these songs alone was unparalleled. The standing crowd resembled that of a storm struck ocean. No one was stationary on the ground for more than 2 seconds at a time, and was understandable as the crowd sang the song back to Uzi word for word.

The one criticism that someone could have, which I certainly do, is the fact that the Philly rapper only managed to perform for 50 of his 105 minute allotted time. But I'm sure I speak for most on this, I hardly had the energy to keep up for much longer. All in all, definitely worth the £35 ticket price.
